Drexel is not the best, I am sure it is not the only good school in Philadelphia, or in PA in general.

I was a transfer from community college. I know many of you want to go straight to 4 year ones after high school, but trust me, you will thank god you did go to a community college (unless your parent is so rich you need to help them to spend some). Its cheaper, and some professors even used to teach at 4 year universities so the teaching quality is the same.

Filled out an application, and the university gave me a scholarship.

For other students, don't go to this school.

As an out-of-state student, I had to berate them with phone calls to find out whether or not I was admitted. I guess getting a 32 on the ACT was enough because they gave me a substantial scholarship. Never got a letter of admission though.

As I stated above, the admissions progress was very smooth. Perhaps that should have been a red flag: only a factory production line can run that efficiently, giving me an admissions decision within a few weeks of my application.

Drexel really doesn't care about its students' education, it is simply in the business of making money. And *that* is something it does very efficiently.

Don't be fooled by the glitzy banners, slickly produced videos, and bullsh*t "school spirit" that are displayed at student orientation and campus visiting days. It's all just a veneer Drexel has applied to make their school look more attractive, and to disguise it's corporate mentality.
